Projects

Halper-Hendrix Experiment
Halper-Hendrix Experiment performs jazz adaptations of Jimi Hendrix’s compositions. The band usually performs as a quartet, quintet or sextet, where the basic line-up of the band is completed with a brass section (trumpet and/or saxophones) with different composition. This setup often performs concerts featuring singers of high renown, Ric Toldon (USA) and Gisele Jackson (USA).

Halper Music offers
5 different line-ups

Halper-Hendrix
World
This line-up opens up a new prospect for the band’s sounding. In this setup the basic rhythm section is completed with the world-famous cimbalom artist Kálmán Balogh and the internationally renowned artist Szokolay ’Dongó’ Balázs playing different folk instruments – shepherd's flute, bagpipe, long flute – who both give a unique character to the band’s soundscape.

Halper Quintet
Halper Quintet performs László Halper’s compositions. In the music world of this formation traditional jazzy sound represented by the wind section made up of trumpet and alto saxophone, being typical of the Bebop Era, blends with the fusion tone of the rhythm section.

Halper Experiment feat. Törőcsik Franciska
This line-up performs songs composed by László Halper and Zsolt Kosztyu. The band’s singer, Franciska Törőcsik, is one of one of the most prominent members of the young actor generation. The sound of the band is made more exciting by the string section (violin, viola. cello) complementing the basic rhythm section and the soprano saxophone.

Urban Noises
Urban Noises is a renewed version of one of László Halper’s former bands. The band’s repertoire is made up of new compositions alongside previous UNo compositions.
